Effective Date: January 15, 2026. These terms govern your use of Claudee's intelligent cinema companion. By accessing our platform, you agree to these conditions.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, downloading our application, or otherwise accessing Claudee's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity. We reserve the right to update these terms periodically, with material changes communicated via email or in-app notification.
2. Service Usage Rules
Claudee provides a curated cinema discovery platform that analyzes viewing patterns to deliver personalized recommendations. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with service delivery, or use automated scripts to scrape content. Accounts are for individual use unless an enterprise agreement is in place.
Misuse of the recommendation engine, including manipulation of ratings or sharing access credentials publicly, constitutes a violation and may result in immediate suspension.
3. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Claudee — including our proprietary recommendation algorithms, database structures, visual design elements, and branding — are owned by Claudee or its licensors and protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any portion of the service without prior written consent. User-generated reviews remain your intellectual property, but you grant Claudee a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the platform.

4. Liability
Claudee provides recommendations based on aggregated viewing data and algorithmic analysis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that recommendations will align with personal preferences. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Claudee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
5. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the account settings page. Claudee reserves the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or prolonged inactivity exceeding 24 months. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may retain anonymized data for analytical purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
6. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
